Policies And Frequently Asked Questions

Booking and payment for walks

Select a walk package that fits your schedule.  You will get a bill on Sunday evening for that upcoming week’s walks.   We accept a variety of digital payment methods for your convenience.

Cancellation Policy

On every Federal Holiday that occurs during a work week we are closed, there are no walks that day and we don’t charge for those days.   If you decide you want to cancel a walk, we can give you a walk credit.  Use it any weekday during your reserved time slot.

Do I get an update when the walk is happening?

Oh heck yes!  A nice text message is policy to let you know how the walk went.

Arrival time window policy

Sometimes days are a bit more jam packed than others.  With that being noted a general policy is we like to allot a 1 hour time window for the walker to arrive.  So for example if your walk was scheduled at 2 pm, we would politely ask a window of between 1:30 – 2:30.

Meeting Your Walker

All meet and greets are mandatory for each new client.  You will meet the owner and your personal dog walker.  Usually we try to schedule them for a weekday after 5pm.  Meet and greets are totally free and there is no obligation to begin service if you schedule one.

Insurance

Yes! Insured Through Pet Care Insurance Inc.

Would these be group walks or solo walks?

All walks are solo walks by default.  Any group walks would have to be planned out with a walking buddy that matches your dog’s temperament.  If you are interested in that just remember to speak to it during the meet and greet.

Other fun policies

We are open Monday – Friday between 10 am and 5pm.  Unfortunately also at the moment we do not offer weekend availability.

We never go into dog runs, or take your dog off leash.

All new clients must be up to date on all vaccinations, before being walked with a partner.

For each additional sibling add $5 per walk
